^A was þaim unmahteigam swe unmahteigs, ei unmahteigans gageig[g]aidedjau; allaim was all, ei hvaiwa sumans ganasjau.

— ἐγενόμην τοῖς ἀσθενέσιν ἀσθενής, ἵνα τοὺς ἀσθενεῖς κερδήσω: τοῖς πᾶσιν γέγονα πάντα, ἵνα πάντως τινὰς σώσω.

— To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
