^A Duhve? unte ni us galaubeinai, ak us waurstwam witodis; bistuggqun du staina bistuggqis,

— διὰ τί; ὅτι οὐκ ἐκ πίστεως ἀλλ' ὡς ἐξ ἔργων: προσέκοψαν τῷ λίθῳ τοῦ προσκόμματος,

— Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
